What makes Grace Integrative Wellness different from a regular chiropractor?

Dr. Kristine Troesch is both a Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) and a Certified Massage Therapist (CMT); a rare combination that allows her to treat your muscles, joints, posture, and nervous system in one coordinated session. Rather than a 10-minute adjustment and out the door, every visit at Grace Integrative Wellness is private, unhurried, and intentionally designed around your specific needs. We call this our Integrated Alignment approach, and it produces faster, more lasting results than single-modality care.

Where are you located?

We are located at 507 Mission St, South Pasadena, CA 91030 inside Mission Chiroworks. We are easily accessible from Pasadena, Alhambra, San Marino, Arcadia, Monrovia, and the greater San Gabriel Valley.

Do you have free parking available?

Yes! We have a small free parking lot located behind the clinic in the alley behind. There is ample free street parking available in front of the building and the street adjacent.

What are your hours?

We are open Tuesday through Saturday, 9am–7pm, by appointment only. Same-day appointments are often available please call or text 626-645-9293 to check availability.

New Patient Questions

What should I expect at my first visit?

Your first visit ($175) begins with a comprehensive examination. Dr. Kristine will review your health history, chief complaint, and goals. She will then perform a physical examination including postural analysis, range of motion testing, orthopedic assessment, and muscle evaluation. Treatment typically begins at the first visit. Plan for approximately 60–75 minutes for your initial appointment.

Do I need a referral to see Dr. Kristine?

No referral is needed. You can book directly online or call/text 626-645-9293.

What conditions do you treat?

We treat a wide range of musculoskeletal and nervous system conditions, including neck pain, low back pain, sciatica, headaches and migraines, personal injury and auto accident recovery, shoulder pain, knee pain, wrist pain, ankle pain, autoimmune-related chronic pain, fibromyalgia, postural dysfunction, and stress-related tension. Do you treat children?

Dr. Kristine's practice primarily serves adult patients. Please contact us to discuss your child's specific needs and we will advise on the most appropriate care pathway.

What is the Integrated Alignment Session?

Our signature 60-minute service ($250) combines corrective bodywork, chiropractic adjustments, movement assessment, nervous system down regulation, and postural correction in a single coordinated session. It is ideal for patients seeking the fastest results and the most comprehensive care. Most new patients who want to address a specific complaint will find the Integrated Alignment Session the most effective entry point. This is the most powerful and most popular service Dr. Kristine offers.

What is corrective bodywork, is it the same as massage?

Corrective bodywork is clinical soft tissue therapy focused on restoring functional movement, releasing trigger points, and correcting muscular imbalances. It differs from relaxation massage in that the work is targeted and goal-directed, designed to address specific pain patterns and movement restrictions. Dr. Kristine's background as a Certified Massage Therapist combined with her chiropractic training allows her to use these techniques with a level of precision that goes well beyond standard massage.

Do you offer memberships?

Yes! For patients who benefit from ongoing preventive care or maintenance treatment, we offer membership plans. Memberships provide priority scheduling and reduced per-visit rates. Visit our Memberships page or ask Dr. Kristine at your first appointment for current options.

How many visits will I need?

This depends on your condition, its chronicity, and your goals. Many acute conditions respond significantly within 4–6 visits. Chronic or complex cases typically require a more extended care plan. Dr. Kristine will discuss realistic expectations at your first visit and reassess your progress regularly. We do not push unnecessary ongoing care; our goal is to get you well and keep you there.

Do you accept insurance?

We are an out-of-network provider and do not bill insurance directly. However, we can provide a detailed superbill (itemized receipt) that you may submit to your insurance company for potential out-of-network reimbursement. Many PPO plans offer out-of-network chiropractic benefits. Please contact your insurance company to verify your benefits before your visit. We also accept HSA and FSA payment cards.

Do you treat personal injury and auto accident cases?

Yes! We work with patients who have been injured in motor vehicle accidents. We provide thorough clinical documentation appropriate for insurance claims and legal proceedings. Call us to discuss your situation before booking.

What is the sliding scale application?

This is an application for patients to receive care at a significant price reduction, for those who are experiencing significant hardship and/or are part of a community that is underserved and would greatly benefit from Dr. Kristine’s work. If you feel called to work with Dr. Kristine and would like to receive this benefit we greatly encourage you to apply.
